Most of you probably already know this, but for those few of you who do not, we're moving! That's right, the Steeners are moving to Pennsylvania. Many of our readers will be surprised to learn that Pennsylvania is, in fact, outside of the state of Utah and that anyone would actually want to move away from the Beehive state. Moving to Pennsylvania will probably present a better work opportunity for me in the long run. Here in Utah I'm lowest on the totem pole, while in Pennsylvania, if a regional office flourishes as is predicted, I'll be in a better position. We'll leave the second week of April, around the 7th or 8th.
Now a word to Robyn's friends who are afraid that this move will signal the end to your lifelong friendship with my wife. Let me assure you that your fears are well founded. As Robyn becomes more enamored with the east coast, we eventually become encumbered with children, and we make new friends, I predict Robyn's new cosmopolitan lifestyle will make visits to the west almost completely untenable. The good news is you can remain connected with Robyn the one or two times a year she posts on the blog.

I give it 6months.
Lifelong friends like Robyns are a treasure in ones life never to be forgotten. For a wife whose husband is forever on the road, they are life's blessing. Maybe you need to walk in her shoes for a while.
I hope you find fulfillment in Pennsylvannia, Matt. It is a good opportunity for you. I also pray for tender mercies toward Robyn, that she will find a friend as dear as her friends at home.
Oh Marian, you always wax so philosophical. I can assure you Robyn will forget all about her friends by the time we hit Kansas.
Nice, Matt. Consoling is not one of your strong points. Better save those freebie flights.
Marian,
I so agree with you. My entire family is very concerned about Robyn being away from her friends and family. I hold out hope that Matt will come to his senses.
We are already saving to come and visit you Robyn!! Despite what your kind and concerned husband may think when you have been friends as long as we have we will miss you dearly and look forward to visits AT LEAST 4 times a year!
Im right there with Julie! Hopefully I can convince ya to visit me when im in Pittsburhg!;)
Robyn, I'm excited for you. From a girl that's moved A LOT, give yourself a couple of "outgoing" months to find some friends and then you'll end up with great ones. Going outside of Utah will be so great for you!
Keep me updated with your blog!
